Prof. Shadiev Rustam

โEnhancing EFL Learning Across Familiar and Unfamiliar Contexts Through Mobile Learning and Generative AIโ
Professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Education, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, where his work covers educational technology, technology-assisted language learning, cross-cultural learning and advanced learning technologies. He took his PhD in network learning technology at National Central University, Taiwan, in 2012, and was a professor at Nanjing Normal University from 2016 to 2022, named a Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province in 2019. He appears in the list of Most Cited Chinese Researchers in education for 2020 and 2021, and in Stanford University's 2024 list of the world's top 2% of scientists. A Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM, he sits on the editorial boards of Educational Technology & Society and Education Sciences, and has chaired the program committees of ICALT and the International Workshop on Advanced E-Learning.

Dr Wu-Yuin Hwang is currently a distinguished Professor of the Graduate Institute of Network Learning Technology, National Central University, Taiwan and Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, National Dong-Hwa University, Taiwan. Dr Hwang received the Outstanding Research Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, in 2021. His current research interests are related to integrating AI and multimedia with mobile devices for interactions among humans and all things in AR contexts like smart interaction, buildings, and campuses. In the recent ten years (2007โ2017), Dr Hwang was also ranked among the top 7 scholars in the world in terms of high-quality journal publication performance in instructional design and technology.
